Hand-crafted by McGuire — the San Francisco furniture house that built its reputation outfitting California ranches, mountain lodges, and Hollywood estates throughout the 20th century — these bamboo barrel chairs carry every signature of the McGuire workshop. Hand-bent rattan frames lashed with leather rawhide ties at every joint. Woven cane back panels that filter light like a screen door at dusk. Genuine cowhide seat cushions, no two patterns alike, each one its own piece of the West.

The barrel silhouette is intimate by design. Two of them facing each other across a low coffee table is a conversation. Two of them flanking a stone fireplace is a wedding portrait. Two of them on a vineyard lawn at golden hour is a moment a bride will frame forever.

McGuire stopped making these decades ago. There is exactly one set in the Sacramento area and we're the only ones who offer them.
