Every piece of shell is set by hand, which means no two tables are identical and every surface catches light differently depending on where you stand. The cylindrical form is ancient — drum tables appear in Moroccan riads, Indian havelis, and French colonial interiors alike — which makes The Raja one of the rare pieces that belongs everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
